About The Artist:

Chris Palmer grew up in Pittsburgh, PA and received his Bachelor Degree in Painting and Printmaking from Carnegie Mellon University. After college, Palmer moved to Philadelphia, where he assisted reknowned artist Sam Maitin for 5 years. In 2006 he received his graduate degree in art education from Temple/Tyler College of Art. Palmer taught art in the Philadelphia School system for 11 years, while continuing to paint on his own. He has spearheaded several permanent exhibitions at the Southwest Health Annex and continues to paint murals for the Family Planning and Counseling Network. 

Palmer is married with a daughter. He enjoys playing keyboard and various string instruments on the side.
